This show’s weekly segment on Worldwide FM is a dose of experimental and underground music from every corner of the globe, focusing on the indie music scene and reviewing different styles and geographical regions through Thristian’s selections, interviews with artists and bands, and mixes by guest DJs.
Global Roots started out as a club night at London’s legendary Plastic People and has evolved into a platform that encompasses radio shows, exhibitions, film screenings, partnerships with festivals like Dimensions, Bahidora and Worldwide, and events and parties in such far-flung locations as Ethiopia, Mexico, Cuba and Korea.
