La Radio Encendida turns 15 this year, and to celebrate we're doubling up on our programme: on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March, 36 bands will perform live in the musical marathon organised each year by Radio 3 and La Casa Encendida. The concerts will be held in the courtyard and auditorium, and we have lots of surprises in store for our 15th anniversary.
For 15 years now, we've been enjoying the great music festival that is La Radio Encendida. And we want to celebrate this milestone by doubling the fun: 18 hours of live music on Saturday 11 March (4–11 pm) and Sunday 12 March (12 noon–11 pm) with 36 bands divided between the courtyard and the auditorium. And this year we've got plenty more surprises up our sleeves!
For the third year running, Radio 3 announcers will also be in the spotlight, spinning live in the "Radio 3 DJs" zone for the duration of La Radio Encendida.
To mark this historic moment, Vermut Films has created a short documentary called "La Radio Encendida, 15 Years Celebrating the Festival of Music", to relive the excitement of the last fifteen editions. The film will be shown round the clock in the Screening Room (admission is free).
La Radio Encendida is broadcast live on Radio 3 and via streaming on the website of La Casa Encendida with the following schedule:
- Saturday 11 March: 8 - 11 pm
