The Education Department offers academic and professional training in key fields for improving employability and promoting social integration, such as foreign languages or computer science. One of the priorities of La Casa Encendida is providing educational opportunities for people who are unemployed, disabled persons, students and volunteers, aid workers and employees of non-profit organisations. In addition, we offer a programme of courses, workshops and various activities to benefit teachers, with a special emphasis on non-formal education. Naturally, this department also devotes special attention to children and young people, organising activities such as inner-city camps and workshops to encourage reading. With these initiatives, La Casa Encendida strives to offer accessible, innovative services to the various actors in the educational system.

Addicted to Toxicity

Human relationships and how they can be toxic or beneficial is a common theme in cinema. Complex relationships between couples, relatives, friends and work colleagues can lead to happiness or become a nightmare, a trap with no obvious way out. Every Tuesday and Thursday in July, La Casa Encendida presents toxic stories that seek an antidote.
