Arun Karthick, the young promise of contemporary Indian cinema, couldn't be any farther removed from the mainstream Bollywood industry. Filmed in 16mm, Nasir is an exquisite contemplative poem about the hate discourse directed at the Muslim minority in southern India and its impact on human lives.
