25 Questions about Madrid’s Future

For Madrid residents, finding a decent, suitable place to live is an increasingly difficult task. Housing policies implemented to date are inefficient, and socio-demographic dynamics pose new challenges due to the mismatch between types and locations of available houses and real needs.

We need to open a debate on how public interventions can be re-orientated towards a different residential model, one that will offer adequate housing for a different society.

Participants: Beatriz Corredor, former Spanish Minister of Housing and Registrar of Land Titles, and Arantxa Pascual, Director-General of Housing for the Alcalá de Henares City Council and former manager of the EMVS (Municipal Housing and Land Agency) of Madrid.

Activities Cycle 25 Questions about Madrid’s Future From 30 January to 27 February 2020 Open/close cycle
