Creative Education and Intellectual Disability: "Expanding Realities"
GASP Cork, Art in Motion Bristol and Debajo del Sombrero Madrid are three projects that have joined forces to share knowledge and pursue their commitment to supporting the professional development of artists with some form of intellectual disability.

Expanding Realities is a European project affiliated with the Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships programme. Its aim is to inspire and share best practices in art education for adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as for the organisations, educational institutions, cultural programmes and centres that offer services and support related to creativity and disability.
After two years of work, the project has come to an end. The partners' final transnational meeting in Madrid offers us a chance to learn about the results of this exchange experience from the people who led it and discover the working philosophy of their respective studios.
