The 15th Electrónica en Abril festival will feature some of
the most important trends in contemporary electronic music.
These globalised sounds shed light on what’s happening in the
world today on both the musical and the political stages,
from Brexit and Trump to the ebullient energy of youth and
Three days of participatory fun to discover the agro-urban
universe of our cities. A grassroots revolution has sprouted
in Madrid thanks to urban agriculture. Residents have
reclaimed abandoned lots and turned them into places for
gathering, learning, creating and changing their world.
Community gardens have bloomed and pollinated the city.
In March, La Casa Encendida takes a closer look at the most
disturbing side of war through four non-fiction films that
capture the daily reality of victims and the consequences of
armed conflicts in Asia and the Middle East.
The exhibition Long Live the Free Fields of Spain!,
featuring the work of Antonio Ballester Moreno and curated by
Tania Pardo, is an invitation to contemplation extended by
thirty-odd enormous canvases and two installations, in which
the artist revisits much of his imagery based on geometry,
popular culture and nature.
Once again, La Casa Encendida is pleased to present an
exhibition featuring the winners of Generaciones, a
competition for artists under age thirty-five that evolves
each year to showcase the latest projects on the young

Courses/workshops with direct booking may be cancelled up to 15 days before they begin, in which case 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
Courses/workshops involving a pre-selection process may be cancelled up to 7 days before they begin, in which case 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
Registration fees will not be refunded if cancellations are made less than 15 days (for direct-booking courses) or 7 days (for pre-selection courses) in advance of the course/workshop start date, or if a student decided to drop out of the course/workshop once it has begun, or for reasons of illness or extenuating circumstances.
La Casa Encendida reserves the right to cancel the workshop/course or change the advertised dates and times depending on the number of people who have signed up, in which case you will be informed of how the payment will be refunded.

Courses & Workshops with pre-selection process
Applicants must submit additional documentation: CV, motivation letter or proof that the applicant falls within the course/workshop's target age group or other group. Any other required documents will be specified.
Participants will be selected from among all applicants who submitted their request within the specified timeframe.
The list of selected participants will be published 10 days before the course/workshop begins, and they will have 5 days to pay the fee and confirm their place. It is the applicants' responsibility to verify their admission to the workshop, either online or by phone.
Selected participants must pay to confirm their booking.
Requests and documentation can be submitted from the moment a course or workshop is published, either by booking online at lacasaencendida.es or in person at the information desk, until 15 days before the course/workshop begins.
If payment is not made within the specified timeframe, the place will automatically be made available to other applicants.
