During ARCOMadrid 2007, La Casa Encendida celebrated this year's guest country, South Korea, with an installation by artist Kyuchul Ahn.

A maze of doors forms 49 tiny rooms that lead nowhere, creating a sense of isolation and tension in visitors as they move through the cramped spaces. This installation by Kyuchul Ahn (b. Seoul, 1959) was first shown at the Rodin Gallery in Seoul in 2004, where spectators passed through as many as 112 doors. The work represents Ahn's personal position on and reaction to The Gates of Hell by Auguste Rodin.
