Course with Nicole Brenez: “Stories of Images, Political Issues”

Our time is distinguished from others by the increasing power attributed to the symbolic. On its own, can an image explain, criticise, argue or conclude? Drawing on films and observing specific cases, we will redefine history and formal diversity, as well as the political issues linked to this reuse.
