Documentaries and Discussions: "The Voice of the Voiceless" 2017

With a new round of documentary films, the 10th edition of this series offers a global vision of development processes. We give voice to individuals, especially women, whose stories demand personal dignity and a fairer world for all.
For the 10th year running, the Madrid Development NGO Network (formerly FONGDCAM) has partnered with La Casa Endendida to offer a series of screenings and debates that highlight the efforts of Madrid-based NGOs involved in international cooperation projects in more than 70 countries across the globe. The discussions that follow the screening of each documentary will help citizens to better understand the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by members of the UN at the end of 2015, with a view to reducing inequality, caring for the environment and ensuring equal rights without discrimination for all, among other aims. These goals are part of the 2030 Agenda, a commitment shared by every level of government (national, regional and local).
