Mobile Film Festival: Women’s Empowerment

One mobile, one minute and one film from anywhere in the world. This online session shows the award-winning videos from the 16th festival, whose work revolved around the empowerment of women. A discussion will follow the screening.
Join us to watch the best pieces presented at the festival: 1-minute creations by filmmakers from over 20 different countries that show how to overcome problems like sexist violence, job inequality or the role of women in the climate crisis and offer real solutions.
The screening will be followed by a debate featuring:
- Claudia Rodríguez, journalist and communications manager of the Mobile Film Festival
- Mónica Chao, chair of Women Action Sustainability
- Christina Kwauk, social scientist and expert on the education of girls in developing countries, 21st-century skills and youth empowerment
- Ana Moreira, film director
Moderated by Ángel Cano, manager of Asociación Despierta and moderator
