Daniel Cristian Wahl, author of the book Designing Regenerative Cultures, is a sustainability and innovation consultant and educator who works with organisations like Gaia Education and Clear Village Foundation. He is also a member of the International Futures Forum. A biologist and zoologist with an MSc in Holistic Science from Schumacher College and a PhD in Natural Design, Wahl was the director of Findhorn College, based at the UN Habitat Award-winning ecovillage in northern Scotland.
Sonia Castañeda is director of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition. Castañeda oversaw the launch of the Empleaverde programme and the entrepreneurial support network Red Emprendeverde, the first platform for entrepreneurs and investors specialised in green business. She was also responsible for managing the European Social Fund, the LIFE projects co-financed by the European Commission, and international cooperation with Africa and Latin America.
