An opportunity for emerging curators and independent collectives to programme two nights within Electrónica in April 2026, as part of the European project TMLAB.

La Casa Encendida presents the first edition of Electrónica en el Club 2026, with the aim of incorporating underrepresented programmers, promoting innovative proposals and opening up new avenues within contemporary electronic music and the club scene, extending them to different venues across the city of Madrid. For the first time, the Electrónica en Abril Festival incorporates a cycle specifically geared towards the dance floor, bringing its most innovative and experimental expressions to the club context.

One of the main objectives of the call is to promote the education and training of people interested in music programming, offering a practical learning space in curating and cultural production through the development of the proposal, contact with artists, artistic production and audience engagement strategies. Therefore, the selected person will carry out their work under the supervision of the La Casa Encendida team and the Electrónica Festival in April.

The call for applications is part of the TMLAB project, a European platform that supports and promotes emerging artists from underrepresented communities across Europe. Present in cities such as Athens, Turin, Madrid, Lyon and Brussels, it focuses on providing opportunities for artists and curators from diverse backgrounds to develop their careers. The project promotes the recovery of narratives and the questioning of historical structures in the music industry. Through live events, tours and radio programmes, TMLAB showcases the ever-evolving European music scene, while fighting against existing inequalities in the music landscape. Its main partners include Stegi Radio (Greece), the C2C Festival (Italy), Kiosk Radio (Belgium), Arty Farty (France) and La Casa Encendida (Spain). TMLAB is co-funded by the European Union.
