José María Larrondo's Book of Hours

20 Nov 2015

The exhibition Book of Hours by José María Larrondo offers a tour of the artist's pictorial work while vindicating the work that the author has been doing since the eighties. His works bring with them images full of irony and turn the use of color into a catalyst for feelings. They are full of references to literature, cinema, art history or the author's own personal experiences.

The catalog is made up of a text by curator José Guirao plus the contribution of thirty writers (Antonio Gamoneda, Soledad Puértolas, Alfredo Taján, Antonio Lucas, Estrella de Diego, Bárbara Jacobs and Javier Montes, among others). Each of them has interpreted, in a freely created text, one of the paintings that make up the exhibition.
