The space as spectacle: Edward Gordon Craig

1 Dec 2011

Edward Gordon Craig (Hertfordshire, 1872-Vence, 1966) was one of the determining figures in the theatrical history of the last century.

Set designer, actor, director, producer and theorist, his work takes us into a scenario where space functions by itself as a phenomenon, with lines and distances, light and movement, and architecture being the protagonists.
