"For a Re-humanisation of Economics" 2017 series
4 Apr - 27 Apr 2017Eco-economics: a broad overview of ecological economics examined from different perspectives, with an emphasis on today's social and environmental reality.
To understand our current global situation, we must look beyond the crisis of the banking system and of capitalism. Perhaps humans, despite being rational creatures, are tuning out the common good, the importance of the human race and the need to integrate social, political, environmental and human values in rational processes, particularly the exercise of economics.
This course will examine the factors that have shaped today's political and economic situation and provide the keys for an in-depth analysis of the economic issues and production industries discussed.
