Film series: "The Voice of the Voiceless", 2016
Three sessions of documentaries and talks to analyse the topic of education for development.
For the ninth consecutive year, La Casa Encendida and FONGDAM have joined forces to present a new edition of "The Voice of the Voiceless", a series in which Madrid-based development NGOs attempt to harness the power of film as an instrument of social change, making viewers think about specific topics such as the defence of human rights, the structural causes of poverty, the role of women in development and the global community.
In many cases, these films will reveal the hidden, unknown aspects of a situation experienced by millions of people across the globe, which is often ignored or distorted by the media.
