New Cartographies of Madrid

Produced in partnership with Casa de América, New Cartographies of Madrid aims to stimulate a reflection on the impact of the different immigrant communities that have gradually settled in Madrid and modified its landscape with their singular, distinctive use of its public spaces. It also aspires to be a hybrid project in which scientific research and artistic expression fuel each other in a symbiotic loop.
El Perro, Mercedes Prado, Valeriano López, La Fiambrera, Javier Longobardo, Matías Costa, Rafael Trobat, Chus Gutiérrez, Carmela García, Martín Sastre, Marina Núñez, Clemente Bernard and Sara Rosemberg are the artists featured in the show.
