Christine Sun Kim. A String of Echo Traps

The Casa Encendida of Fundación Montemadrid presents, for the first time in Spain, the work of the artist Christine Sun Kim, winner of the Prix International d'Art Contemporain (PIAC) 2022, from the Fondation Prince Pierre of Monaco.
From November 11 to January 8, 2023, and from January 24 to February 26, 2023, the exhibition A String of Echo Traps is presented, curated by Cristiano Raimondi, in which Christine Sun Kim, American artist who resides in Berlin, she approaches through various formats what constitutes the center of his artistic practice: musical notation, written language, computer graphics, sign language, the body and the strategic deployment of humor to question the sound and language politics.
