All the evidence indicates that the DAESH pseudo-caliphate will ultimately be dismantled in the Syrian and Iraqi territories where Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi tried to found an "Islamic State" in June 2014; however, we must not make the mistake of thinking that its disappearance will solve all of the problems affecting those two countries.
