Choi-gon is a very popular rock star but after 15 years on the stage he realises that public attention has shifted to younger artists. He goes on regardless, chalking up one scandal after another to the dismay of his manager, who strives to keep him out of trouble. One day the manager sends him to a struggling radio station out in the sticks, and he starts working as a DJ. And then his life takes an unexpected turn.
Lee Joon-Ik beat every South Korean box-office record with his historical drama The King and the Clown, which gave him a privileged position in the emerging Korean film industry. After this huge hit, Joon-Ik decided to embark on a modest trilogy about rock music and nostalgia.
