Wake Up! The Planet Needs You 2022

Adaptation: degrowth, collective intelligence, resilience, eco-anxiety.

Society and the scientific community are sounding alarm bells about already having reached a point of no return in climate change. The latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) focuses on the different facets we need to take into account to manage the necessary adaptation to new climate circumstances in the coming years. Despite this scenario, the economic, political and production measures are still falling far short of bringing about the necessary changes. Moreover, this is coupled with the potential collapse of energy and raw materials that we are currently experiencing. Developing the necessary adaptation and resilience strategies has never been more vital if we are to survive in an increasingly uncertain world.

There are alternatives. This 13th edition of Wake Up! The Planet Needs You explores what we can do to try and preserve our quality of life, adapt to extreme climate conditions and prepare for a future that is already here.

Discussions with leading experts and powerful documentaries never screened before will open your eyes to what lies ahead so nothing catches you by surprise.
