Bikôkô presents her first EP Aura Aura, a project inspired by R&B and the neo soul music of Erykah Badu and D’Angelo, chants from Tanzania, and the rhythms of West Africa.

Neï Bikôkô, known professionally as Bikôkô, is the new talent on the national scene. Her newly released album, Aura Aura, produced entirely by herself, is a cyclical journey that explores how music forms an integral part of our everyday lives, modifying and conditioning our existence. The six tracks on the album make reference to six different parts of the day and what they mean for the artist.
To the Magnetic Terrace she brings her new show accompanied by two percussionists and a bass guitarist.
Neï Bikôkô was born 19 years ago in Barcelona. Raised in an artistic environment, from a very young age she was exposed to a wide variety of music styles: from jazz classics to Bach’s Cello Suites and son cubano artists. This gave her the opportunity to explore different sounds and identify the ones that have marked her the most, to the extent of including them in her own projects.
