The focus shifts toward darker, less organic sounds. Drawing from techno, electro, house, synthwave, drone and trip hop, Electrónica en el Club explores a more mechanical and industrial dimension of dance music. Repetitive rhythms, tense pulses and dense textures create a space where the body moves between control and escape, between precision and overflow, finding in the dance floor a place for collective encounter.

The night opens with TRIXYTRICKS, a veteran of the Madrid scene, who sets the tone with a selection attentive to dissident practices and community-building. She is followed by Animistic Beliefs, key figures of a hybrid and politically charged electronic sound that brings together tradition and futurism. Damián Schwartz, a central figure on Madrid’s production and nightlife scene, brings the evening to a close with his characteristic precision and sensitivity behind the decks.

TRIXYTRICKS

TRIXYTRICKS (Madrid) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between experimental club music, vocal performance and community-building. Her approach to DJing draws from deconstructed club, a current within electronic music that fragments traditional club rhythms to create more open and experimental structures. Her sets feature broken rhythms, deep basslines and a constant interplay between pop references and more abstract sounds. Founder of DAY & N1GHTN01SE and co-founder of INSULTO Club, she has helped shape key spaces for digital and queer scenes in Madrid. She understands the dance floor as a meeting place where music can challenge hierarchies and generate new forms of community.

Animistic Beliefs

Animistic Beliefs is a Rotterdam-based duo combining IDM, electro and what is known as global club—a strand of electronic music that blends rhythms from different musical traditions with contemporary electronic production. Inspired by their Moluccan, Vietnamese and Chinese heritage, they incorporate references to animism and pre-colonial cultural traditions into an intense and ritualistic sound. Emerging from the underground scene and experimentation with synthesisers and analogue hardware, they have released music on labels such as Cultivated Electronics and Solar One Music (Mindset:Reset, 2019). Their live performances unfold with a powerful physical energy that connects identity, history and the dance floor.

Damián Schwartz

Damián Schwartz has been a key figure in European electronic music since the early 2000s, with a solid trajectory spanning house, techno and experimental exploration. A long-standing producer and DJ, he has released on labels such as Apnea, Semántica and Oslo Records, as well as on his own imprint, AHD. His music is characterised by sharply defined rhythms, carefully crafted structures and a precise melodic sensibility, with tracks that have become underground classics. As a DJ, he builds narrative sets that evolve gradually, moving between hypnotic moments and more expansive passages, always with a highly attentive approach to the club context.
