A listening session and conversation guided by Lyra Pramuk, conceived as a collective space to reflect on how we listen to music and how we talk about it.

Under the title Listening Together, the artist proposes a gathering for professionals and people working with music, centred on the practice of deep listening. Each participant is invited to bring a piece of music that inspires them or with which they have a special emotional connection. Based on these selections, the group shares a focused listening experience and collective discussion, exploring what elements we perceive, what stimulates us, and which words we use to describe it. The session addresses questions such as individual taste, sonic perception and the construction of a shared understanding of musical value and experience.

Beyond discussion, the proposal seeks to strengthen the capacity to work with sound from a collaborative perspective, encouraging the exchange of ideas around composition, recording, performance and creation.

The session lasts approximately three hours and takes place in an intimate setting with limited capacity.

Lyra Pramuk is a composer, vocalist and producer from the United States, based in Berlin. Her work combines voice, technology and contemporary spirituality, and has been presented at international festivals and institutions such as Sónar, Unsound and MoMA PS1. In both her live performances and parallel projects, listening and collectivity occupy a central place in her artistic practice.
