Electrónica en Abril 2026| Target audience: | General public |
| Duration: | 1 hour 30 minutes |
| Price: | 4€ and 8€ |
| Location: | Workrooms |
This session explores the work behind running a record label beyond the music itself: curation, aesthetic identity, relationships with artists, and the long-term development of a coherent catalogue.
Drawing on his experience leading STROOM, Nosedrip shares insights into how to build a strong editorial vision, how forgotten works are discovered and brought back into circulation, and what it means to work with reissues, archives and contemporary releases. The session will also address practical aspects such as physical production, design, distribution and the economic sustainability of an independent project.
Behind the alias Nosedrip is Ziggy Devriendt, a Belgian DJ and curator and founder of the label STROOM, widely recognised for his work recovering hidden gems from new wave, experimental electronics and the European underground. Through a practice deeply connected to archival research and attentive listening, his work has turned STROOM into a key reference within the international independent music ecosystem.
The workshop is aimed at people interested in cultural management, music publishing and the development of independent projects within the music industry. No previous experience is required, but an interest in understanding how a label is built from the inside is recommended.
